How can I get an account?
You may acquire a NASA eNTRe Web account by going to the login page and signing in. 

 

My company has contracts with more than one NASA Center, how do I submit reports?
Each NASA Contract specifies where reports should be delivered. NASA eNTRe supports the selection of a NASA Center for each report. NASA eNTRe will use the selected Center for delivery of the submitted report.

 

How can I submit drawings or pictures?
Add attachments to your invention disclosure in Page 9, Additional Documentation under Attachments. Any file type can be attached. If you have an uncommon file type, please contact the Center POC listed below before submitting your disclosure to ensure they can support your file type.

PDF is recommended. Common file types are Word, Powerpoint, Excel, PDF, GIF, JPEG, and TXT.

Who can send new technology reports to NASA?
Reports of new technologies can be submitted by parties that have funded agreements with NASA or NASA Civil Servants.

 

How can an organization submit a New Technology Summary Report?
NASA eNTRe supports on-line submission of new technology summary reports.

 

How can an organization elect to retain title of an invention?
Information on organizations' rights and related links are provided in the "Party under NASA Funded Agreements" section of this web site. The "NASA Election Form" can be used to make an election.

 

Are rewards available for submitting a disclosure?
Information on rewards are available at the NASA Invention and Contributions Board web site, http://icb.nasa.gov.

 

How long is eNTRe's time-out for inactivity?
When the user creates an NTR, a pop-up alerts the users by mentioning- "There is a 60-minute inactivity timeout. Please try to complete the NTR within that timeframe." This is a security feature that helps prevent others from gaining access to your private information, particularly when you are using a public computer.
